In celebration of Asylum's 15th birthday, we launched 15 ― an online guide to present day urban culture. Based in Singapore, 15 amplifies the urban sensibilities of its local people and 4 other cities, namely, London, New York, Tokyo and Shanghai, through user-generated city listings and informative journal features.
Building on the belief that cities are defined by its people, 15 works through a mobile and desktop friendly interactive platform that allows city dwellers to make submissions of their favourite cafes, bars, films, music and even travel destinations. A public voting system further self-curates submissions to filter out and display only the top 15 hits for any given category. As a result, all content is organic, dynamic, and most importantly authentic ― an accurate reflection of where the hearts of urbanites truly lie.
